Werkwijze

  • Initial Meeting: The introduction forms the starting point of a potential trajectory. During this session, we clarify the client’s concerns, expectations, and goals. You will gain insight into my working methods, while together we explore what is needed to provide appropriate guidance. Depending on the situation, the introductory phase may consist of one or more sessions. At the end, we will discuss whether further guidance is recommended and in what form it could continue.
  • Follow-up Sessions: The follow-up sessions are structured from a biopsychosocial approach, focusing on the interplay between physical, psychological, and relational aspects. The guidance is tailored to the specific needs of the client and may consist of one or more sessions. When relevant, exercises or reflections may be provided to continue working at home. The number of sessions and their frequency are always determined in consultation, according to the client’s pace and needs.
  • Referral: In certain situations, a referral to another healthcare professional may be desirable, for example to a general practitioner, psychologist, gynecologist, pelvic floor therapist, or other specialist. This is always done in consultation, ensuring that the care provided aligns optimally with the client’s needs and situation.
